Lumine Kitasenju is a convenient commercial facility directly connected to Kitasenju Station.
The JR Line North ticket gate, the Hibiya Line, the Tobu Line, and the Tsukuba Express are right near the exit! They lead to Lumine 3F.
Meanwhile, the Chiyoda Line, which runs underground, is directly connected to Lumine B1F. (Even though the Hibiya Line is a subway, it runs above ground!)
Now, on the 10th floor of Lumine Kitasenju, there's a rooftop plaza surrounded by greenery.
Looking at the thumbnail of this article, it looks just like a park!

I took a picture of the information board at the Lumine rooftop plaza. The basic hours of use are from 11:00 to 16:00!
Volleyball is not allowed.

Oh, when I visited on October 28th (Sunday), it was open from 10:00 to 16:00, an hour earlier!
It seems that the opening hours vary depending on the season. "We're opening early this month as a special service!"

Wow! As expected of Lumine, they don't skimp on the rooftop plaza either.
It's not a barren rooftop, as they're taking care of the lawn. (Example of a barren rooftopis here)
You can see square wooden benches in the front.

From here, it's under the eaves, so it becomes an artificial turf area.
There were six metal tables with seating for 3-4 people!
This is perfect for a break for families with children!

It's the kind you often see outdoors.
It's nice that there's a roof. It's great that you can take a break and avoid a little rain or direct sunlight!
You can use it when you want to eat lunch boxes in Kitasenju!

By the way, there was a rooftop garden near the entrance!
It seems like they are growing strawberries, watermelons, sweet potatoes, and mini tomatoes. Strawberries in Kitasenju!!
Anyway, rooftop gardens are popular, aren't they?
Personally, the most impressive rooftop garden is this Tenku no Noen.

There was something like a pergola next to the lawn area. (Not a crowbar)
Since no one was sitting there, Kanrinin Penta happily sat down.

The green rooftop plaza is quite pleasant!
It's also recommended as a place to let children play in Kitasenju!?
Also, it's better to spend time at the rooftop plaza while gazing at the lawn, rather than forcing yourself to go to Starbucks on a date in Kitasenju, probably.
By the way, when it comes to rooftops in Kitasenju, there's a fierce competition with the "Kitansenju Marui 12F Rooftop Plaza".
Because you can see Skytree from the Marui rooftop...
However, Lumine is wider and less crowded than Marui, so I personally recommend it!
So, why not use it as a resting place with seating near Kitasenju while you're shopping at Lumine Kitasenju?
