To get to the Taiko Bridge on the Meguro River, go down Gyonin-zaka from Meguro Station and head south, with the Gajoen on your right.
And there's a place to rest along the Meguro River, which is famous for its cherry blossoms.
There are many stone benches along the Meguro River.
Regarding the congestion of the rest areas, I checked on weekends and holidays, and there were some people using them.
Especially during the cherry blossom season and the tourist season, congestion is expected.
Also, there are quite a few people walking along the Meguro River, so there is a lot of traffic.
Also, including Gyonin-zaka nearby, there are many steep slopes around Meguro Station, so it seems like the uphill climb on the way back will be tough if you go there for a break.
By the way, I didn't see any benches where you could rest between Meguro Shinbashi on Meguro-dori and the Taiko Bridge area.
It might not be very relaxing because there are a lot of people passing by, but why not use it just to take a short break while strolling along the Meguro River?
