Minami-Osawa Station is in an area developed as part of the Tama New Town project, and it's a hub for large commercial facilities like an outlet mall, TOHO Cinemas, and Ito-Yokado.
Also, because the campus of Tokyo Metropolitan University is directly accessible from the pedestrian deck, you'll see students during the weekdays and people taking qualification exams on the weekends heading towards the campus.

Next to Frenté Minami-Osawa, which was once bustling with people visiting Meatrea, there's a 10-story office and commercial complex building called "Paore."
By the way, the name Paore comes from the initials of "Parking, Office, Restaurant, and Education!"
Indeed, that's exactly what the tenants are, isn't it? It's easy to understand.
Now, you can directly access the "Aji no Sanpodo" dining area on the 4th floor of Paore from the pedestrian deck.

Right in front of the Paore entrance, there's a circular plaza where you can sit and take a break!
There were three steel benches that could seat three people each.

It's a bench with good drainage, with a slit design.
There's a vending machine right next to it, so I used it when I was thirsty.
It's also close to the station, making it convenient as a meeting spot in Minami-Osawa!
Also, when it's crowded, the following rest area with many benches is recommended.

So, why not take advantage of this spot as a place to sit and rest in Minami-Osawa while you're shopping at Paore?
