This time, the resting spot is located right near the ticket gates of Minatomirai Station!
After exiting the ticket gates of Minatomirai Station, head towards the Yokohama Museum of Art or exits 1 to 4, following the yellow signboards.

You'll find a wide concourse like this, with the entrance to MARK IS on the left side.
I visited on a weekend, and there was hardly anyone passing through the corridor.
Many people were heading towards MARK IS.

And if you casually look along the walls of the concourse...
Although it's difficult to spot because it blends in with the floor's colors and handrails, there are benches where you can sit and take a rest!

Four benches, each seating four people, are installed along the wall.
Perhaps because they're not very noticeable, they're in bright colors like orange and yellow.
Even so, the two-seater type on the right has an interesting seat shape, doesn't it?

I took a picture from the side. They're delicate but simple benches.
Also, the wide spacing between the benches is a great point, allowing you to relax without feeling cramped.
Since it's a spacious concourse, it doesn't seem like the area around the seats will get crowded with people passing by.
It seems like you can use it for meeting someone, taking a break, taking business calls, or organizing your luggage at Minatomirai Station.
Also, there are public phones and coin lockers nearby, so it's convenient to remember their locations.
So, why not use it as a meeting spot or a place to take a rest around Minatomirai?
