When you walk from the West Exit of Musashi-Kosugi Station through Hosei-dori Shopping Street, you'll come to the Imaichi Bridge, which spans the Nika-ryo Water Canal.

In spring, the cherry blossoms are beautiful, and it's a great spot to enjoy cherry blossom viewing along the Nika-ryo Water Canal. By the way, it's pronounced "Imaichibashi."
Now, at Imaichi Bridge, there's a lovely object to see.

It's Nika-ppa-kun, a beloved character in Musashi-Kosugi!

His cucumber accessories are so cute! By the way, there's a secret about the power generator next to Nika-ppa-kun...
For more details, I have a video of me trying it out on YouTube, so please take a look if you'd like.

As for the resting place, there are community chairs set up on both sides of the bridge. The pink chairs are lovely, aren't they?
They look like chairs that were once used in shops or homes.

On the opposite side, there were stone-type chairs and different colored chairs like the ones mentioned earlier.
Musashi-Kosugi has the image of being a city of towering apartment buildings, but a little walk reveals small discoveries.
So, how about using this spot as a place to take a break and sit down near Musashi-Kosugi Station?
