Musashi-Kosugi is a major terminal station, but the JR-affiliated buildings are surprisingly understated. The station is surrounded by Tokyu Square and Mitsui's La La Terrace.
To get to Tokyu Square, you can go directly to the 2nd floor via the connecting passage from the JR North ticket gate, or access it from the Tokyu Square connecting entrance if you're on the Tokyu Line.
On the 4th floor of Tokyu Square, which we'll introduce this time, you'll find the restaurant floor and the Tokyu Line ticket gates.
And, on the opposite side of La La Terrace, near the entrance/exit leading to Uniqlo, there's a place where you can sit and take a break!

There are stools lined up along the window, accommodating about 8 people.
Since the entrance/exit near the benches has a fair amount of foot traffic, it felt a little unsettling depending on where you sat.
However, it's convenient as a meeting spot in Musashi-Kosugi if you're planning to shop at Tokyu Square, as the Tokyu Square connecting entrance is nearby!
Regarding the congestion, I checked on weekends and holidays, and since it's the floor with the ticket gates, it was about half full.
However, the turnover seems to be fast, so it's convenient to remember as a place to take a break while shopping in the building.
Also, the "Tokyu Square 4F Observation Deck" on the same floor is a must-see spot for train enthusiasts, so be sure to check it out too♪

So, why not use this spot as a place to sit and rest in Musashi-Kosugi while you're shopping at Tokyu Square?
