Musashi-Mizonokuchi Station is on the Nambu Line, and Mizonokuchi Station is on the Tokyu Den-entoshi Line and Oimachi Line. The ticket gates for both stations are connected by a pedestrian deck.
There are many variations in the spelling of "Mizonokuchi," such as Mizonokuchi, Mizonokuchi, and Mizoguchi... Which one is correct!?!
Well, there are twin towers of the commercial facilities, Marui and NOCTY, which can be directly accessed from Mizonokuchi Station via the pedestrian deck.
On the 13th floor of Marui Nocty, there is a rooftop plaza, which seems to be commonly called "Nocty Plaza Rooftop Plaza."

When you go up in the elevator, you'll find the entrance to the rooftop plaza.
The opening hours of the rooftop plaza vary depending on the season and weather, but
- March 1st to October 31st: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- November 1st to February 28th: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
is the schedule.

I went out to the rooftop plaza right away!
Unlike ordinary rooftop department stores, there is a soft ground and a track and field.
Hmm...? Why is there a track on the roof!?

It's popular with families with children, and it's a perfect spot to let children play in Mizonokuchi.
There is a pergola and a bench that can seat about 10 people on the wooden deck.
It can also be used as a place to eat your lunch from Mizonokuchi, or how about a light picnic! ?

There is also a long bench on the opposite side, which seems good for resting and reading ♪
But depending on the time of day, it's very sunny...

There are plants on the back of the bench, so you can take a relaxing break even near Mizonokuchi Station, which is surrounded by buildings.
The light blue ground gives the impression of a public pool... (lol)

There is a stage behind the track, and it seems that character shows are held there.
Even so, it's rare to have a field. This is the first time I've seen it at a resting spot since this park.

There are also restrooms, so it's designed to be easy to use for families, which is great.

There are also vending machines, so you can stay hydrated even if you run around with your children on the rooftop plaza.
Since it is also close to Mizonokuchi Station, it seemed like a good place to eat prepared food and lunch boxes purchased in the basement of Marui and relax!
So, why not use it as a resting place near Musashi-Mizonokuchi Station while shopping at Marui or Nocty?
