To get to Hirakawacho Mori Tower, it's a short walk from Exit 4 of Nagatacho Station, heading towards the Imperial Palace on Aoyama-dori Street.
By the way, in front of Mori Tower, you'll find the Miyakezaka Junction, a familiar sight on the Shuto Expressway No. 4 Shinjuku Route!
Junction enthusiasts, take note.
Let's get back to the main topic.
After passing the Tully's Coffee and Natural Lawson near the main entrance of Hirakawacho Mori Tower, and going down the stairs, you'll find a resting area with seating.

Including the benches on the stairs, there are 7 wooden benches with backs, each seating 3 people, and 4 wooden benches with backs, each seating 2 people.
Near the entrance to the stairs, where the Mori Tower sign is located, there are lush trees and a couple of 2-seater benches scattered around.
Although the location is right in the heart of the city, close to the Imperial Palace, the rest area is rich in greenery, and many sparrows were playing there.

Also, when I checked during Golden Week, there were hardly any people around Mori Tower, and I was the only one using the rest area.
The atmosphere of the rest area is great, so it's a good idea to stop by while strolling around the Imperial Palace, or to take out food from the nearby Lawson or Tully's and relax.
It also seems like a good place to have lunch if you're in the Nagatacho area.

The stairs leading to the rest area from the main entrance of Mori Tower are lined with gate-shaped objects, which somehow draw you in.
The 3-seater wooden benches on the stairs are in the shade of the building, so you can avoid direct sunlight.
It might be a good idea to take a breather here.
Furthermore, Hirakawacho Mori Tower has an adidas Runbase for Imperial Palace runners.
Personally, the administrator, Pen-ta, has run around the Imperial Palace several times, and just one lap is enough exercise.
I used the running station in Kanda.
Why not give it a try as a seating area near Nagatacho Station?
