To get to the Hirakawacho Mori Tower, go out of Exit 4 of Nagatacho Station and head towards the Imperial Palace on Aoyama Street.
By the way, in front of the Mori Tower, there's the Miyakezaka JCT, which you'll recognize if you're familiar with the Shuto Expressway No. 4 Shinjuku Route!
This is a must-see spot for junction enthusiasts.
Back to the topic.
If you go down the escalator next to the entrance of Hirakawacho Mori Tower, you'll find a seating area in the public open space.
There are long wooden benches that can accommodate around 30 people.
When I checked during Golden Week, there were hardly any people around Mori Tower, and I had the entire seating area to myself.
It's sunny, and there's a water feature on the wall.
For some reason, there were many sparrows, and they came up to me several times, perhaps hoping to get some food.
Also, there's a Natural Lawson and a Tully's nearby, so it might be nice to take out a drink and relax.
However, the Tully's in Hirakawacho is only open on weekdays.
It seems like a good place to stop by while you're strolling around the Imperial Palace.
In addition, the Hirakawacho Mori Tower has an Adidas Runbase for those who enjoy running around the Imperial Palace.
Personally, I, the manager Pen-ta, have run around the Imperial Palace several times, and just one lap is enough exercise.
I used to use the running station in Kanda.
Why not try it as a seating area around Nagatacho Station?
