Sanae Park, located near the Lucent Tower.
Despite being close to the Sakura-dori exit of Nagoya Station, it's a spacious park with large playground equipment and plenty of space for children to run around and play!

To get to Sanae Park, go from Nagoya Station towards KITTE and Lucent Tower on Meieki-dori, and it's located in the backstreets of Meishinken and Meitetsu Inn.
By the way, there's an area called VIA141 right next to the park, where stylish restaurants are gathered.

It's a park with lush greenery, but you can clearly see the towering 40-story Lucent Tower, giving you a sense of being in the city.
By the way, the area around Lucent Tower is also recommended for taking a break or enjoying Nagoya cuisine.

Sanae Park has a slide in the shape of an elephant with a long nose and a sandbox.
There's also a pergola, but the benches are in a different place.

At the edge of the park, there's a concrete hill and a slide.
This hill seems like fun for children♪ It's also perfect for families with children to visit near Nagoya Station.

As for the resting area, there were only two mushroom-shaped stools.
I visited during the Obon season, and the sun was scorching hot...

I thought, "Surely there are other benches!" but there were also two-seater abdominal benches next to the public restrooms.
Vending machines are also casually installed, which is nice for a break when you're thirsty.
...Come to think of it, it's rare to have vending machines in a park of this size.

It's a bench under the shade of trees, so it seems like a good place to eat lunch or take a short break.
My impression of Sanae Park is that there aren't many benches considering its size...
It's not that far from Nagoya Station, so it seems like it could become a park for relaxation.
Also, "Noritake Garden" nearby has a stylish garden and tables and chairs, so it's recommended♪

So, why not use it as a place to take a break and sit down in Nagoya?
