I finally made it to Nakameguro! It's in Nakameguro, on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and the Hibiya Line (first train).
When you exit the East Exit of Nakameguro Station, the Atlas Tower, a high-rise apartment building, immediately catches your eye.

The Atlas Tower stands tall to the right of the photo above, and they say celebrities live there!
It's certainly just a few minutes' walk from Nakameguro Station, and the status of living in a town that everyone dreams of...!
There was a Saizeriya, a casual Italian restaurant, in the stylish restaurant area of the Atlas Tower.
Now, the area on the left side of the photo, with the sign prohibiting bicycles and motorcycles, seems to be a greenway.
I wonder if there's a place to rest in Nakameguro...

That winding shape is... the Jakurezuregawa Greenway!
Oh, there were stone benches for one person to sit and rest along the greenway!

This is a guide to the Jakurezuregawa Greenway. Even so, the seating surfaces of the stone benches are beautifully polished and sparkling!

What is Jakurezuregawa?
It's one of the tributaries of the Meguro River, which merges near Nakameguro Station, with its source in the Tsurumaki area of Setagaya (near Sakurashinmachi and Komazawa University).
In the distant past, the name "Jakurezure" came from the fact that the soil collapsed due to the influence of a giant snake that appeared and rampaged.
Separately, the soil around it was sand and gravel, so the gravel cliffs often collapsed, hence the name "Sakurezuregawa," and the kanji for snake (蛇) was applied there.
Until the early Showa era, the Setagaya area was a rice field, so the Jakurezuregawa was a river that meandered like a snake.
It is now a culvert and has been maintained as a greenway, but you can see the confluence with the Meguro River nearby.

The place that looks like a delta is the confluence of the Jakurezuregawa and the Meguro River!
The Jakurezuregawa flows in from the left side of the photo, curving in.

Now, going back to the topic, there were similar stone benches at the end of the Jakurezuregawa Greenway.
Since it's close to Nakameguro Station, it seems like a good place to take a break while walking along the Meguro River.
The smoking area of the Atlas Tower is also nearby, so it might be convenient for those looking for a smoking area in Nakameguro.
When I was walking around the Sancha area in the first place, I thought, "Jakurezuregawa Greenway!? Cool!", so I was a little impressed that I happened to visit the end this time, thought Penta.
It feels like reaching the end of a national highway. Do you understand! ?

So, why not use it as a place to take a rest in Nakameguro?
