To get to Momijiyama Park, exit the South Exit ticket gate of Nakano Station and walk along the tracks next to the Nakano Station police box on your left.
After walking for about 8 minutes, you will see Nakano ZERO on your right.
Nakano ZERO has a west building and a main building, and behind the west building is Momijiyama Park, where a steam locomotive (C11 368) is displayed.
And, there are places to sit and rest within Momijiyama Park.
Wooden benches that can accommodate about 20 people are installed.
There are playground equipment for children, a sandbox, a pond, and it is a relaxing park surrounded by trees.
It is also suitable for eating the lunch box you brought in Nakano.
You can enjoy the SL train on display in the park and the undulating walking paths.
In autumn, the autumn leaves are beautifully colored, and we recommend visiting to see the autumn leaves.
Also, if you are indoors, there is also a "Nakano ZERO West Building, 2nd Floor Rest Area" nearby.
So, why not use it as a rest area where you can sit down around Nakano Station?
