In Niigata, the Bandai district is a popular shopping spot for young people, with department stores and commercial facilities gathered in an area called Bandai City.
Bandai City is about a 12-minute walk from Niigata Station, and you can easily access it by bus.
Now, I found a place to sit and take a break near the "Bandai City Bus Stop" in front of LaLaport Bandai!

There were three circular benches that could seat about 15 people.
The benches are placed around the trees, and if you look closely, the legs of the benches are fixed with concrete.
This type is rare, isn't it?
As for the environment, there is a bicycle parking area nearby, so there is a lot of foot traffic and it may be a little distracting, but it's convenient as a meeting place for LaLaport and Bandai City.
If you come shopping by bicycle, it seems like a good idea to meet at this bench.
By the way, there's a MOS BURGER right in front, so you can have a quick lunch here.
So, why not use it as a rest area where you can sit down near Niigata Station while you're shopping at LaLaport?
