“There's a Fuji-zuka (artificial mountain resembling Mount Fuji) here, which is quite rare!”
If you head towards Washoku Sato from Nishi-Tachikawa Station, you'll find Fuji-zuka Park right next to the police box.

It's a quiet park located on the street connecting Tachikawa and Nishi-Tachikawa.

In the foreground, there's a mini table for children and stools with instructions for old-fashioned games.
I wonder if kids in the Reiwa era still play games like "Antagata Dokosa"!?

And then, in the back, there's a Fuji-zuka about 8 meters high, also known as Asama Shrine.
There's also a small bench next to it.

It's unusual, isn't it? Praying for safe climbing of Mount Fuji in Nishi-Tachikawa.

There are benches scattered throughout the park.
There's a delicious bakery nearby, so it's a perfect spot to enjoy some takeout bread.
In fact, that's exactly what I did.

Another highlight is the dinosaur spring rider.

So, why not use this park as a resting spot around Nishi-Tachikawa Station?
