This is a wooden deck installed in 2024 as part of the "Hokomichi" pedestrian convenience enhancement program.
It's located on the sidewalk on the east side of Midosuji, in front of the main building of the Mitsubishi UFJ Bank Osaka Building.
A similar terrace (Icho Terrace Yodoyabashi) is located near Yodoyabashi Station, about 200 meters north on Midosuji, but this terrace is larger than the one in Yodoyabashi.
Mainly using wood from Osaka Prefecture, and combined with the planting, it creates a calm atmosphere within the office district where inorganic buildings stand side by side.
With a variety of tables, counters for standing use, high-seat stools, and benches for individuals to multiple people, it seems to be designed with various people and purposes in mind.
You can also use Osaka Free Wi-Fi, which seems convenient when you want to do a little work while you're out and about.
The roof has louvers to some extent, which provides light shade, but doesn't seem to be able to protect from the rain.
