To get to Meiji University's Liberty Tower, take the JR Ochanomizu Station and exit from the Ochanomizu Bridge Exit. Then, go straight on Surugadai-dori, which is in front of you, toward Jinbocho and Takebashi, opposite the Kanda River.
There is a place to rest in front of the Meiji University Academy Common, also known as Meidai Square.

There are many metal benches installed on the premises.
The benches are surrounded by trees, creating a shady resting space.

Even though it's close to the station, you can take a break away from the hustle and bustle of Ochanomizu Station.
Therefore, I think it's perfect for eating lunch or taking a break near Ochanomizu Station.
Here is a video of my visit to these benches.
If you walk a little further, you'll find a place where you can feel the greenery and openness: "Rest area behind Meiji University Liberty Tower". Consider this option as well.
So, why not use this as a place to rest in the Ochanomizu/Jimbocho area?
