We've actually investigated, so let's take a closer look!
To get to the Tokyo Waterworks Historical Museum, take the JR Ochanomizu Station, Ochanomizu Bridge Exit, cross the Kanda River, and head towards Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
Turn left onto Sotobori-dori, towards Suidobashi, and you'll find it after passing the side of Juntendo Hospital.
**And on the 1st floor of the Tokyo Waterworks Historical Museum, which offers free admission, there's a seating area.**
**There are sofas that can accommodate about 15 people.**
You can relax and take a break on the sofas arranged around tables.
As for the congestion, when I checked around lunchtime on weekends and holidays, there were only a few groups of visitors, so it's generally uncrowded.
Also, **there's a bottle dispenser located in the corner of the rest area!**
You can refill your own water bottles or thermos, which is convenient when you want to hydrate in Ochanomizu!
Inside the museum, you can also enjoy exhibits such as a reproduction of an Edo-era longhouse.
If you're interested in geography, you'll find it quite interesting, with a lot to learn about the history of Tokyo's rivers!
It's recommended if your dates in Tokyo are getting a bit stale, haha!
Nearby, there is a lovely Western-style garden called "Hongo Kyusui-sho Park", so I recommend visiting it as well.
The museum is open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and is generally closed on Mondays.
Why not visit the Tokyo Waterworks Historical Museum, or use it as a seating area when you're in the Ochanomizu area?
