Speaking of Oji Station, you might think of Asukayama Park, the Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Museum, and Oji Shrine, which is the origin of the station's name, right?
Even though I've only really used Oji Station for the highway bus terminal.
Now, across Meiji-dori from the bus rotary at the north exit, there's a somewhat understated complex leisure facility called "Sun Square."
It's a landmark of Oji Station, and it's quite well-equipped with a game center, bowling alley, tennis courts, and a driving range.

This is a view taken from the stairs in front of the Tobu Store in Sun Square.
And I found a place where you can sit and rest around Sukiya and McDonald's!

Three sets of three-seater fan-shaped benches were installed.
In the center of the benches, there are streetlights and trash cans. The environment isn't the best, but it can be used as a place to eat your lunch in Oji.
It's also close to Oji Station, so it's easy to access.

Next, there were also four similar three-seater benches in front of Sukiya.
It was a bit crowded, probably because it was quieter than the benches near McDonald's.
The back is a fence, so you can take a break while looking at the inside of Sukiya (lol)
By the way, the tables in front of McDonald's are for the store's customers only, so please keep that in mind when using them.
Sun Square is easy to spot from the outside, so it seems like a convenient meeting spot near Oji Station.
Also, here's another place near Oji Station where you can eat your lunch!
So, how about using these places as a resting spot in Oji?
