Lumine in Omiya has two locations: Lumine 1 on the Tobu Urban Park Line side and Lumine 2 on the Shinkansen side.
Today, I'll be introducing some rest areas located in Lumine 2.
Lumine 2 is conveniently located near the central ticket gate of Omiya Station.
Let's take a look at the Lumine floor map.

On the 5th floor of Lumine 2, you'll find Muji, the sweets shop Ensoleille, and Jexer Sports Club.
And, in the center of the map, on "Lumine 2 5F Rooftop," there's a place where you can sit and relax.
Two 3-seater wooden benches were installed.
As you can see, it's surrounded by Jexer's tennis courts and futsal courts!
The 5F rooftop area is almost entirely occupied by the Jexer facilities.
The "LUMINE" sign you see in the back left? You might think, "Wait, wasn't I just at Lumine?" but that's the sign for Lumine 1, located on the east exit.
With benches in a sunny spot, it might be a bit tough in the summer... (there's no roof).
On the other hand, if the weather is nice, you can enjoy a warm, relaxing rest.
The seating is quite ordinary, and the rest area is spacious, making it suitable for families with children.
Looking towards the tennis court, there are two resin tables set up.
For some reason, the artificial grass is sticking out...
I see, maybe they've done that on purpose to allow people to use it even with their tennis shoes on?
I assume the table seats are exclusively for Jexer Sports users.
The view is mostly tennis or futsal, so the environment might be a bit so-so, but it could be a good option for a place to eat lunch in Omiya.
