If you're in Onarimon, you're in a great spot to walk to Tokyo Tower and Shiba Park from the station.
The way to the children's playground and multi-purpose sports field in the area of Shiba Park that I'm introducing this time is right in front of you as you exit Exit A6 of Onarimon Station.

You might not be familiar with the "number" areas of Shiba Park, but it's located in the lower right area of the overall Shiba Park map, next to the Tokyo Prince Hotel.
Even though it's all called Shiba Park, it's really big, and each area has its own unique characteristics!

The promenade connecting the children's playground and sports field in area 4 is a spectacular spot where you can see the Tokyo Tower head-on!
The photo didn't turn out well due to the backlight...I might not be able to convey it, but it's a wonderful area.
And, there are benches lined up on both sides of the promenade where you can sit and take a break!

Two-seater benches were lined up at regular intervals!
At night, the view of the illuminated Tokyo Tower can be enjoyed, transforming the area into a romantic date spot♪
Speaking of which, the trees on the left side of the photo look like broccoli!

They are solid hinoki cypress benches with handrails, and bricks were laid at the feet to keep your shoes clean.
Since it's right near Onarimon Station, it's perfect for eating lunch or taking a break from sightseeing at Tokyo Tower♪
Of course, I think it's also convenient as a meeting place in Onarimon!

If you look closely, there's a plate embedded in the backrest that says "Memory Bench".
It seems that they attach plates of people who have donated benches in commemoration of milestones in life, such as marriage, or social contribution activities of companies, etc.
...Wow, I want to donate too!
The recruitment for this year has ended, so I think I'll apply next year (lol)

There is a children's playground on the exit side of Onarimon Station, and children were bustling with swings and other playground equipment.
It's also suitable for those with children and families♪
Also, there are restrooms nearby, so I think it's a convenient spot to let children play.

The flowers in the surrounding flowerbeds are also beautifully in bloom, and the atmosphere is nice.
Maybe it would be nice to sit on a bench and read while gazing at Tokyo Tower♪

Now, when you go through the promenade, there is a wide space called the multi-purpose sports field.
This place has a sense of openness, and it's perfect for taking a break, and it's also recommended when you want to play with your children in a wide open space.

There is a pergola in the sports field, and there are three three-seater benches placed there.
This pergola seems to function for disaster prevention.
There was no such function on the benches in particular, so does that mean it will become a disaster response headquarters?

Two-seater benches were placed at regular intervals around the sports field.
Since the back is a stone wall, I was able to sit and take a break in a relaxed manner.
Area 4 is generally spacious and has many benches, so it's convenient to remember when you want to take a break around Onarimon and Zojo-ji Temple♪
So, why not try using it as a resting place to sit down around Onarimon Station?
