In front of Grand Front Osaka, there's a spot called Umekita Square.
Look for the waterside area and the event venue, Umekita SHIP Hall.

It's a large, easily accessible square right in front of Osaka Station.
You'll see many people sitting on the grand staircase. At night, the staircase art is lit up, making it a popular spot for couples.

This is what Umekita Square looks like from the pedestrian deck of Grand Front Osaka.
The Green Bear is the landmark.

There are places to sit in front of the waterside square, making it a great date spot in Umeda.

By the way, the bear is named Ted Ibert. It's a work by Fabrice Hyber.
It has a cute shape, like an "Osuwari Penda" (Sitting Penguin)!

There are also places to sit on the Osaka Station side, so you could enjoy takeout food or even do a bit of remote work to answer emails.

Umekita Square is a convenient meeting spot near Osaka Station.
Also, the terrace garden of Grand Front Osaka is recommended.

So, why not use these spots as resting places around Osaka Station?
