Oosaki West Exit Park is a park located on the ground level of the NBF Oosaki Building (formerly Sony City Oosaki Building), and there's a bus terminal nearby.
In 2014, Oosaki Wiz City opened next to the park, and the West Exit Park was renovated, transforming it into a spacious and beautiful area.
To get to Oosaki West Exit Park, exit the South Ticket Gate of Oosaki Station and head towards ThinkPark on your right. Walk along the pedestrian deck towards the former Sony City Building and the TSUTAYA, and you'll find it.

This is the view from the 3rd floor of Oosaki Wiz Tower, located near the park.
You can see that the area with lush trees is Oosaki West Exit Park, and it's directly accessible from the station via the pedestrian deck.
If you go down the stairs that spread out like a skirt, there are plenty of places to sit and relax in the park!

A relaxing rest area with a wide walkway. With plenty of trees, you can take a break while feeling the greenery while also enjoying a blind effect.
I visited in the evening, and it was a beautiful resting place with LED streetlights and straight footlights under the benches.

Although the bench is oddly shaped, it's surprisingly convenient.
This is because you can place your belongings at a height that's easy to reach, making it useful when you want to look at documents or take notes while on the phone.
Even though it's a park, the ground is tiled, so you don't have to worry about getting your shoes dirty even on a rainy day, which is nice.

Oh, what's this, a rest area enclosed in glass near the stairs of Oosaki Wiz Tower...!?

There were two table seats that can accommodate four people!
It's outdoors, but it's enclosed in glass, and because it's under the stairs, you can use it even when it rains, and you can take a break while avoiding direct sunlight!
This is convenient! You can eat your lunch while enjoying the view of the park through the glass, and it can also be used as a remote work spot!

By the way, there was a slatted wooden bench near the entrance and exit of the stairs.
It was a bench with a shallow seat that seemed like you could easily slide off. It's placed on a raised platform, so it might stand out from a distance.
So, that was an introduction to Oosaki West Exit Park!
It's spacious and has a lot of seats despite being close to the station, so it seems like a good place to use for a break with families with children or to eat lunch in Oosaki!
It's also convenient as a meeting place in Oosaki. I've actually seen office workers using it for meetings.
By the way, there are table seats available nearby at "休憩所 of Oosaki Wiz City 1F and 2F" that can be used even in rainy weather, so be sure to check them out too!
That's all! Why not consider using these places to take a break around Oosaki?
