You'll find Otemachi Financial City on the north side of Otemachi, near the Shuto Expressway and Nihonbashi River.
Financial City refers to a high-rise building area, including South Tower, North Tower, and Grand Cube.
One of the features is that the Grand Cube has the largest bicycle parking area in Otemachi.
It seems that 758 bicycles can be parked there, which is pretty amazing. The usage fee is 100 yen for up to 3 hours, and a maximum of 300 yen for 24 hours.
It seems perfect for those who want to commute to Otemachi by bicycle, such as by road bike!
By the way, to get to Otemachi Financial City, you can access it directly from Exit A1 of the Marunouchi Line.
And, I found a place where you can sit and take a break in the plaza between the North Tower and Grand Cube!

Many benches for two people were installed between the planted trees.
It's a sophisticated urban space design. Rows of planted trees stand in a straight line, and there are cafes and restaurants in the buildings on both sides.
Surrounded by the buildings of Otemachi, it seems to have a nice atmosphere with the lights on at night ♪

The Grand Cube on the right, which was just completed in 2016, is a new and beautiful office building.
Do office workers use the plaza during the weekdays?

There were benches and stylish public art near the entrance to the Grand Cube's bicycle parking area.
It's a work by Mr. Kaneko called "ColorBox."
If you sit on this bench and look at the art, you might come up with some ideas ♪

The rounded wooden benches are designed with ergonomics in mind.
I think it's convenient as a place to eat your lunch in Otemachi.
I visited on a Saturday, and there were hardly any people, so I could relax and take a break.
I don't know what it's like on weekdays, but I think it's easy to use when you want to make a phone call or send an email.
(If anyone knows the congestion situation, please let me know in the comments)
Also, the "Eco-Museum Bench along the Nihonbashi River" nearby is also recommended because you can relax away from the hustle and bustle!

So, how about using it as a resting place where you can sit down around Otemachi Station?
