This rest area is located near Starbucks and Seiyu on the Tokyu Setagaya Line side.
To get there from Sangen-jaya Station on the Den-en-toshi Line, go out the ticket gates and proceed through the underground shopping area towards the Setagaya Line and Carrot Tower, and then go up to the ground level.
You should see the Ekimae-dori street in front of the Setagaya Line. Walk straight to Starbucks, and you'll find a place to sit and rest.

There are six single stone benches in front of Starbucks.
There are trees in the middle of the benches, and they are arranged to surround them.
I was a little concerned about the many pigeons around.
This rest area is located on the corner of Ekimae-dori street and has a lot of traffic.
When I actually used it, I felt a little uneasy because of the many cars and people, as it's in front of Sangen-jaya Station.
The street was bustling with people heading to Seiyu, a local favorite, Muji, a shopping destination, and izakaya, as well as those heading to Carrot Tower.
Now, let's focus on the benches themselves.

The condition of the benches themselves was not bad.
It may be in rather good condition for being in front of the station.
There are trees, but please note that you can't expect much shade.
Starbucks is right in front of you, so you might be able to use it when you want to take out and drink outside.
It can also be used as a meeting place at Sangen-jaya Station.
Also, "Carrot Tower Observation Lobby" nearby offers free views of the Setagaya area, so be sure to stop by!
So, why not use it as a place to rest around Sangen-jaya Station?
