Just a 10-minute ferry ride from Yokosuka, you'll find the uninhabited island of Sarushima!
You can access Sarushima from the ferry terminal at Mikasa Park, a short walk from Yokosuka-Chuo Station.

And on the lower right of the Sarushima map, you'll find the Sarushima Pier, the ferry terminal, and the beach area where the management building is located.

This is the view as you get off the ferry. Exciting, isn't it!?!
The building near the sandy beach is Oceans Kitchen, which has a food shop, fishing rod rentals, and the management office.

And, there were many tables with parasols on the deck in front of the management building!
There's a deck on the 2nd floor of the building, so you can enjoy the ocean view from the benches!

Some of the seats didn't have parasols, but they might be good for those who want to get a tan.
These table seats are convenient when visiting with families with children!
You can use them as a place to eat your lunch or dinner on Sarushima. It looks like a lot of fun to have a BBQ on the beach too!

There were also many benches with a view of the sea on the 2nd floor of the management building!
The roof provides shade, which is nice.
I saw many people eating curry (Navy Curry?) that was sold on the 1st floor of the building!

There is a smoking area on Sarushima. There are also benches, so dads can take a break here.
For food and tourist information, go to the management building or Oceans Kitchen near the ferry terminal, and get prepared before exploring Sarushima.
Also, please note that the toilets are only located here!
Also, there is another ocean view table seat in Sarushima at "Oimonohana Hiroba, near the Battery Ruins", so be sure to check it out!
By the way, if you like, please take a look at the articles about enjoying Yokosuka, including Sarushima!
It's easy to go from Tokyo, just a 45-minute ride from Shinagawa, so it's highly recommended.
