Shibuya Stream, which utilizes the former Tokyu Toyoko Line Shibuya Station and the old railway tracks, opened in September 2018.
The 1st to 4th floors are commercial areas, the 9th to 13th floors are hotels, and the 14th to 35th floors are offices.
Shibuya Stream is designed to resemble a stream! The facility is located along the Shibuya River.
To get to Shibuya Stream, you can access it directly from Exit 16b of various train lines.
Alternatively, it's located after exiting the JR south ticket gate and crossing Tamagawa-dori and the Shuto Expressway via a deck.
From the deck that extends from Tamagawa-dori, you'll find an entrance to the 2nd floor of Shibuya Stream like this.
And I found benches where you can sit and rest on the 2nd floor's restaurant floor!
There was a wooden bench for three people near the escalator in the "CHICKEN KITCHEN" area!
It's a design bench, and the offset shape is a distinctive feature.

I visited around 3:00 PM on a Saturday, but there were no users because it was outside the traffic flow.

If you proceed on the 2nd floor of Shibuya Stream towards Ebisu and Daikanyama, you can reach a deck where you can see the Shibuya River.

The wooden boards have a multi-layered structure, and each one is different, making it a distinctive bench.
You might pay attention to the steps of the seating surface, but what you should focus on is the legs of the bench!
Since Shibuya Stream utilizes the former Tokyu Toyoko Line tracks, the legs are rail-shaped!
I felt the creators' commitment to detail.
(Actually, the legs of the benches I've introduced so far are also rail-shaped. I noticed it with this bench...)
It's easy to access from Shibuya Station, so it seems like it could be used as a meeting place in Shibuya♪
