To get to Intercity, go out the Central Ticket Gate of the JR lines and head to the Konan Exit on the right, which is directly connected via a pedestrian deck.
Intercity is made up of buildings A to C and the S&R building. There is a resting area near the Galleria of the Shopping & Restaurant building next to Building A, in front of "Torikaku" on the 1st floor.

There is a gallery on both sides, and there are 8 tables with seating for 3-4 people in the center.
The surroundings are designed with a rich variety of structures and spaces, such as the skyway and stairs for pedestrians that can cross Intercity.
There is also a convenience store nearby, so it's a great spot when you want to eat lunch boxes or have a light meal in Shinagawa.
When I checked around 15:00 on a Saturday, there were no users. (Probably because it was winter)
Please note that there is no rain or sun protection as it is outdoors.
Also, if you want to eat a lunch box indoors, the "Intercity Atrium 1F table seating" is convenient, so please consider it as well.
Why not use it when you visit Shinagawa Intercity or when you need a place to rest and eat your lunch box around Shinagawa Station?
