To get to the Nittele Big Clock, head towards the Shio Site from the JR Shinbashi Station Shiodome Exit or the Ginza Line Exit 2, and aim for the Nittele Tower.
From Shiodome Station, proceed towards Shinbashi and the Yurikamome Line.
And, there's a seating area near the Big Clock on the 2nd floor of Nittele Tower.

There are 3 wooden benches for 3 people each and 1 bench for 8 people.
As for the environment of the rest area, the area around the Big Clock is a garden with trees, and it's an open area as there are no obstructions.
There are flowerbeds around the wooden benches, which makes for a nice atmosphere.
And the Big Clock on the wall of the Nippon Television headquarters building is a large-scale mechanical clock designed by director Hayao Miyazaki.
This clock seems to move its mechanisms and play a melody several times a day for about 3 minutes, so try to catch it if you have the chance!
And this Big Clock is a popular spot for foreign tourists to take photos.
Since there are benches next to the Big Clock, you might find yourself in a photo if you're not careful, haha!
If you sit on a bench away from the clock, you might be out of the frame though...
Regarding the congestion, I checked on weekends and holidays, and there were no users.
The benches were empty, but photographers were gathered in front of the clock.
So, why not try using it as a seating rest area in Shinbashi and Shiodome?
