Shin-Koiwa Station, where the Sobu Rapid Line stops, recently had platform doors installed.
North of Shin-Koiwa Station, there's a lovely water park called "Nishiihori Seseragi Park."
To get to Nishiihori Seseragi Park, exit the north exit, go straight to the main street, and you'll find it near the Tatsumi Bridge intersection.
The Seseragi Park has wooden and stone benches, perfect for relaxing.
It's an area that was once a water channel used for Koiwa irrigation, now transformed into a green space.
Though it's green, the park has a slightly artificial feel.
There's also a "Jabu-jabu Pond" where children can splash and play in the summer, making it a popular spot for relaxation.
There are many Lawson convenience stores nearby, so it's a great spot to grab a bento (lunchbox) near Shin-Koiwa Station!
There's also a bicycle parking area nearby, making it ideal for families.
So, why not use it as a rest area when you're around Shin-Koiwa Station?
