Neat, a shopping center directly connected to Keikyu Shinzushi Station.
It opened in 1991, so it seems the name was a bit ahead of its time, haha.

Inside Neat, you'll find a 100-yen shop called Meets, a bookstore, Hack Drug, Doutor Coffee, and Renge Shokudo (Tohshu). It's a small-scale but well-equipped lineup.
The space in front of the Keikyu North Exit ticket gates was vacant, though...

Here's what the exterior of Neat looks like.
For the popular Hayama Joshi Tabi Kippu (Hayama Women's Travel Ticket) on the Keikyu line, the bus to the Hayama area departs from the south side of Shinzushi Station, so photo-loving girls won't be gathering here...

Now, I found a spot in 1F of Shinzushi Neat where you can sit and take a break!
Look for the Rinsho Seminar sign. It's right after you go down the stairs from the North Exit, so you shouldn't get lost.

There was a two-seater wooden bench.
It's surrounded by plants, and the bench has a well-worn feel. But it seems like a good place to meet up in Shinzushi.
Or, you know, when you want to quickly eat your bento lunch in Shinzushi.

Since Hack Drug is right in front, if you think, "I want to buy some sunscreen at the drugstore before going to Hayama!", why not stop by the North Exit side?
Also, it's convenient to remember this as a place to sit and wait when you're meeting up with friends and they're running late.

Hayama is also recommended for a men's trip, so be sure to check out the Hayama Joshi Tabi Kippu. It's close to Tokyo, and you can refresh yourself by enjoying stylish cafes and the ocean view.

So, why not use these rest areas in Shinzushi while you're shopping at Neat?
