Yokosuka APT is a two-story shopping center located near the Yokosuka Arts Theatre, and houses stores like Daiso, Jeans Mate, and Subway.
To get to Yokosuka APT, it's just a short walk from Shioiri Station, heading towards Dobuita Street from the bus rotary.
And guess what? I found a place where you can sit and take a break in the passage in front of Jeans Mate on the 2nd floor of Yokosuka APT!

Two single wooden benches were placed on the side of the passage.
When I actually sat on them, the passage was designed to be wide, so you could relax without feeling cramped.

You don't often see this type of single-seater bench, do you?
Most of them are two-seater types, so maybe it's a cost-saving measure...
The seating comfort is pretty normal, a bit cheap, but it's perfect for a break while sightseeing in Yokosuka.

A picture of the rest spot looking towards Daiso.
It was around 3:00 PM on the first day of the summer three-day weekend, but it wasn't crowded at all.
It's close to Shioiri Station, but if you're going to shop here, you might as well go to Shoppers, I feel. Personally.
Since it's in the passage, you don't have to worry about rain or wind, but it's semi-indoor, so there's no air conditioning.
But since Dobuita Street is nearby, it's a convenient rest spot for sightseeing in Yokosuka.
So, why not use it as a place to take a break in Shioiri while you're shopping?
