If you often visit Shibuya using the Inokashira Line, have you even used the Avenue ticket gate at all!?
The site manager, Pen-ta, only found out about it when he was looking for a place to take a break, haha!

The Avenue ticket gate is located at the end of the Inokashira Line platform towards Kichijoji.
You're sure to miss it if you're just riding the train normally.
Now, the above-mentioned Avenue ticket gate connects to the 4th floor restaurant area of Mark City.
And, there are resting areas where you can sit near the ticket gates and escalators leading to the office floors.

There are two areas surrounded by wooden benches, which can accommodate about 25 people.
Plantings are placed in the center of the benches, and the color scheme of the floor and spotlights create a warm atmosphere in the resting area.
It's not as bustling as in front of Hachiko!
There's plenty of space in the aisle, so you can relax without feeling cramped.
Also, the resting area near the office escalator is away from the main flow connecting the shopping and restaurant floors, so there is less foot traffic.
Therefore, it's a convenient resting place when you feel unwell near Shibuya Station or when you want to take a relaxing break.

In terms of congestion, there are basically many people, and it can be difficult to secure a seat.
However, it's in a great location, right in front of Shibuya Station ticket gate (though it's the Avenue entrance), and there are many seats, so it's helpful to remember.
Since it's less crowded than in front of Hachiko, it's also convenient as a meeting place in Shibuya or a gathering place for groups.
Also, when the seats are full, let's use the "Mark City 4F Shopping Floor" located nearby.
How about using this as a resting place to sit in Shibuya while shopping at Shibuya Mark City?
