To get to Shiodome City Center, you can access it from the JR Line Shimbashi Station Shiodome Exit or the Ginza Line Exit 2, heading towards the Shiosite area.
From Shiodome Station, head towards Shimbashi and the Yurikamome Line.
And, on the 1st floor outdoor area of Shiodome City Center, you'll find the former Shimbashi Station, with benches nearby where you can take a rest.

There are five wooden tables and chairs set up.
The platform of the former Shimbashi Station has been recreated, and the surrounding area is beautifully maintained.
It's clean and not very dirty for an outdoor table, and it's quite comfortable to sit at.

It's perfect for eating lunch in Shimbashi, and it's also great for families with children.
Also, it's a great spot for Nomad/Remote work or desk work in Shimbashi.
I actually saw some business people working on their computers there.
It can also be used for organizing documents or making phone calls during job hunting in Shimbashi.
Regarding the congestion situation, I checked on weekends and holidays, and two tables were in use.
There weren't many tourists at the former station either.
Because of this, it was a quiet place where you could relax.
(I haven't checked on weekdays, so if anyone knows, please let me know!)
Please note that smoking and drinking alcohol (buying beer at a convenience store, etc.) are prohibited.
As it's a clean rest area, it's a recommended place to take a break in Shimbashi.
So, why not use it as a place to rest in Shimbashi and Shiodome?
