Around Tokyo Skytree, there's Tokyo Solamachi, Sumida Aquarium, Planetarium Tenku, and the East Tower of the office building, and the entire area is called Skytree Town.
Among them, we've checked out the rest areas in Solamachi, the commercial facility connected to the entrance of Skytree!
Solamachi is huge, so we'll check the map using the yard names and addresses.

The rest area we'll be introducing this time is "near the West Entrance of West Yard, addresses 3 and 4."
The landmark is past the official shop of the TV station, "Tree Village."
※ Even if you're unsure, there's a route search to the rest area at the bottom of the article, so you can access it without getting lost.
Now, let's check out the rest area.

The outer perimeter around the Skytree entrance is like a deck, and it's pleasant to stroll around when the weather is nice.
There is greenery on the walls and plants like bonsai, creating an oasis space even though it's surrounded by concrete♪

The landmark for the deck area is this West Entrance.
The entrance to go up to Skytree is on the 4th floor of Solamachi, and you can access it from the deck and the front, north, and west entrances.

There are benches along the green wall.
It's convenient to remember this place as a place to quickly eat what you bought at Skytree or your lunch.

The benches had a simple, rectangular structure.
There is a lot of foot traffic heading towards the Skytree entrance, but you can rest comfortably because it's away from the main path.
It's also easy to rest for those with children and families.

There's a smoking area near the West Entrance.

And, the feature of these benches is that you can look up at the Skytree from directly below!
It will make your neck ache, but it's a sight to behold.

There are coin lockers near the West Entrance, so it's convenient to remember if you have a lot of luggage.
Also, the table seats at "Solamachi 4F Address 8, Sky Arena's rest area" a little walk from here are also recommended for a break!

Also, the "Solamachi 5F Farm Garden" next to the entrance of Sumida Aquarium is a hidden gem♪

So, how about using these as rest areas where you can sit down around Skytree?
