Around Tokyo Skytree, you'll find Tokyo Solamachi, Sumida Aquarium, Planetarium Tenku, and the East Tower, an office building. This entire area is called Skytree Town.
Today, we're checking out the resting areas in Solamachi, the commercial facility connected to the Skytree entrance!
Solamachi is huge, so let's find our way using the yard names and addresses on the map.

The resting area we'll introduce this time is "East Yard, Address 8, Sky Arena".
The landmark is right under the Skytree (lol)
※ Even if you're not sure, don't worry! There's a route search to the resting area at the bottom of the article, so you can get there without getting lost.
The Sky Arena is an event space and has temporary benches. But,
this time, we'll introduce places in the Sky Arena that are vacant and recommended for taking a break!

The Sky Arena on the 4th floor of Solamachi has a main entrance and is the entrance to the Skytree.
The Skytree viewed from here is spectacular. It might even relieve your smartphone neck (lol)

At the entrance to the Sky Arena, where the main entrance is located, there are Sorakara-chan and benches.
It's a garden, and it looks like it would be beautiful to take commemorative photos here.

There is a connecting passage that leads to the Skytree entrance.

I took this because it was nice.
The combination of a glass-enclosed passage, a beautiful lawn, benches, and the scenery of the downtown area is great!

And there are benches for three people lined up near the lawn.
This is out of the traffic flow, so it's not crowded.
And, it's a bench that's perfect for sitting and looking up at the Skytree, and it's recommended because you can take photos calmly.

If you go further from the benches, there are many tables for four people!
It seems that it was empty because it's in a place that's not very noticeable.
There are tables under the eaves, so the point is that you can take a break while avoiding direct sunlight.

Metal table seating, often seen outdoors.
It's a good idea to remember this as a place to eat your Solamachi lunchbox while looking at the Skytree!

There are vending machines and coin lockers near the table seats!
These coin lockers are hidden in the back, so they might be a hidden gem.
If it's crowded or you're looking for other table seats, "Solamachi 2F Deck Resting Area" is highly recommended!

So, why not use this as a resting area where you can sit down around Skytree?
