Around the Tokyo Skytree, there are Tokyo Solamachi, Sumida Aquarium, Planetarium Tenku, and the East Tower, an office building. The entire area is called Skytree Town.
Among these, we've checked out the rest areas in Solamachi, the commercial facility connected to the Skytree entrance!
Solamachi is huge, so we'll check the location using the yard names and addresses from the map.

The rest area we're introducing this time is "8F East Yard, Addresses 9 and 10" on the map.
This is an outdoor rest area, directly accessible from the Chiba Institute of Technology campus area and elevators!
※ Even if you're unsure, there's a route search to the rest area at the bottom of the article, so you can access it without getting lost.
So, let's check out the rest area!

When you get off the elevator, a sphere suddenly appears!
This is the dome of "Planetarium Tenku" on the 7th floor of Solamachi.
The area around the dome is a garden, serving as a rooftop rest area♪

Next to the dome, benches and lawns spread out in a curve, like the shape of a sphere.
It's a wonderful rest area where you can spend your time comfortably on a sunny day♪

The benches continue in a circular arc, and the shape is truly a dome garden.
This is a reading spot, isn't it!
It's also great as a place for families with children to take a break or to eat your Solamachi lunchbox!

From the benches, you can perfectly see the planetarium dome and the Skytree!
Ah, I'll relax and take a break here for a while.
By the way, I visited around noon during the summer vacation season (lol)
Even though there's such a wonderful rest area... it's a hidden gem!

Also, rectangular benches were placed around the dome.
There were also long benches like those on the beach, so is it a sunbathing spot? (lol)

There were benches next to the hydrangeas as well.
It's green and has an environment that you wouldn't think was on the rooftop of a building.

And what's great about this rest area is that you can get a close-up view of the Skytree!
Why not sit on the bench and look up at the Skytree?
It's better to visit here rather than looking at the Skytree in a super crowded place (lol)
Also, the Dome Garden is highly recommended as a night view spot for Skytree and Solamachi, so it can be used for dates too~♪
In addition, the "Rest area in Solamachi 5F Farm Garden" has a field and is a rest area where you can spend your time comfortably, so be sure to check it out!

So, why not use it as a place to rest with seating around the Skytree?
