In Renjo Park, there is "Arts Chiyoda 3331," an art center in Akihabara that utilizes the former Renjo Junior High School building operated by Tama Art University.
The plaza in front of Arts Chiyoda 3331 is the site of Renjo Park.
To get to Renjo Park, it's a short walk from Exit 3 or 4 of Suehirocho Station, heading towards Yushima, through a residential area.
It's located at the corner of Kuramae-bashi Street and Chuo Street, and is relatively close to Tsumagoizaka and Kanda Myojin Shrine.

I came to the entrance of Renjo Park from Suehirocho Station.
It's a beautifully maintained park, and the school building you see in the back is Arts Chiyoda 3331.
By the way, the origin of 3331 is... Edo Ippon-jime!
Clap your hands three times, three sets, and then one last time!
In other words, 3331!
3 times × 3 sets = Nine (苦, meaning "suffering"), and adding one stroke at the end makes it Round/Perfect (丸)!
Now you know a little trivia (lol)

Actually, Renjo Park opened in 1931.
Hmm!? Was the Renjo Park area independent as a park, rather than just the grounds of Renjo Junior High School?
If you know more, please let me know (lol)

The former Renjo Junior High School, Arts Chiyoda, is a three-story school building, and it's characterized by the stairs in front of the entrance.
And, the Renjo Park area has a spacious atmosphere.

Renjo Park is well-maintained, with the grass being replaced in 2015, and is a park with a lot of greenery.
I visited during the New Year's season, so the green elements may seem a bit less, but it's a great spot to visit when you want to be healed by nature in Akihabara or Suehirocho.

There are multiple three-seater benches around Renjo Park.
They have handrails, so they're user-friendly benches where you can sit and relax.
Also, the ground is paved with stones, so you can take a break without getting your shoes dirty even on a rainy day. That's a great point!
The planting in the back is cute, isn't it?

There were also benches around the large tree.
It's nice to be able to relax and take a break in the shade. It's a bench where you can avoid direct sunlight in the summer.
You can also use it as a place to eat your lunch from Akihabara or Suehirocho!

There was a "Chiyokuru" station, a community cycle of Chiyoda Ward, in Renjo Park.
It's recommended for those who want to explore around Akihabara and Kanda Myojin Shrine by bicycle!
The first 30 minutes cost 150 yen.
For more information, please refer to "Community Cycle "Chiyokuru" Official".

It was New Year's, so Arts Chiyoda 3331 was closed, but it looks interesting, so I'll try to visit it next time.
Even so, it's a quiet park, and it's recommended for those who want to spend their time relaxing.
Also, there are no playground equipment in Renjo Park, so if you are visiting with children, "Horin Park" nearby is recommended!

So, why not use it as a place to rest and sit down in Suehirocho and Akihabara, along with Kanda Myojin Shrine?
