Jizo-dori Shopping Street is famous in Sugamo!
At the end of this shopping street, near Koshinzuka Station on the Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line), you'll find "Sarutahiko Okami Sugamo Koshindo Shrine."

The deity Sarutahiko Okami was enshrined here from Saruta Shrine in Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture.
It's characterized by the monkey gods on either side, which are associated with the enshrined deity, Sarutahiko Okami.

Although it's a small shrine, it has a somehow sacred atmosphere, and the air feels different.
And there are two benches placed at the back of Koshinzuka!

Perfect for a rest after your visit, there are two wooden benches for two people each.
It's perfect for a break while sightseeing in Sugamo Jizo-dori Shopping Street.
