On the east side of Tamachi Station, there's a "triple complex building" called "Granpark," which combines offices, shopping, and residences.
To get to Granpark, exit the east exit of Tamachi Station and walk past the Tokyo Institute of Technology's futsal court, then go down to the ground level from the pedestrian deck.
Then, head towards the Tokyo Institute of Technology at the Tamachi Station East Exit intersection, and you'll see it on your right as you go straight!
Once you see the building, head towards the entrance of Granpark.
Since it's an office entrance, it might seem a bit difficult to enter, but the general public can also use it.
(There's also a Tully's Coffee inside the building)

And there, in front of Granpark, was a beautifully maintained plaza with places to sit and take a break!
I've seen many buildings, but I think this garden is quite impressive.

Here's the overall view of the plaza.
Numerous flowers and trees created an oasis in the heart of the city.
Doesn't it look a bit like Disneyland at first glance?? (lol)

There were two-seater benches lined up.
Don't you think these benches look like they could be in Disneyland too!?
The seating surface was made of wood, and the frame was made of iron. The green color scheme suits the plaza well.

On the left side of the plaza, there was "Wee Nam Kee," which serves Singaporean chicken rice.
I feel like they've put some thought into the choice of restaurants for an office building!

I haven't mentioned it until now, but there's "Gran-kun" sitting in the middle of the plaza.
Is he a dog watching over the plaza? He's so cute♪

Gran-kun is surprisingly muscular (lol)
There's also a bit of illumination around, which is convenient when you want to take a break in Tamachi or make a phone call.
It also seems like a great place to eat your lunch from Tamachi.

Also, if you go to the right from the plaza (towards Tamachi Station), there's a rest area behind Granpark.
It feels like it's behind the building, but it was spacious with trees.

There were wooden benches integrated with the planting.
Since not many people come here and it's vacant, why not use it when the plaza is crowded?
Also, if you're looking for a table seat, I recommend the "Granpark B1F Shopping Escalator Area" on the lower floor!
So, why not use Granpark as a place to sit and take a break around Tamachi Station while you're shopping?
