Tobu Department Store, which is directly connected to Tobu Utsunomiya Station, has a rooftop plaza on the 6th floor.
It has a slightly nostalgic atmosphere, like a rooftop amusement park. But that's nice too, isn't it?
The resting area is covered with a roof, making it easy to take a break even on a day with strong sunlight. I did a survey in the middle of summer and was able to rest comfortably.
The rooftop plaza, called the "Resting Square," is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
There were many steel tables and chairs with seating for 3-4 people.
The center area looks like a stage, and it seems that events are held there.
Vending machines were placed around the tables.
I think it's perfect for families with children who want to take a break near Tobu Utsunomiya Station.
It's also a great place to eat lunch. I saw some people doing that.

Near the smoking area, there are also stylish tables and chairs!
They look great in a Western-style garden, and it seems like a good place to take a break after shopping at Tobu.
