Toranomon Hills, part of the Mori Building group, is a 52-story skyscraper that houses offices, residences, hotels, and restaurants.
I was thinking how nicely the street in front of the Hills has been maintained, and then I learned that "Shintora-dori," which connects Toranomon and Shinbashi, was also completed at the time of its opening.
I heard that it will be used as part of the road connecting the Tokyo Olympic Village and the stadium!
By the way, to get to Toranomon Hills, take Exit 1 of Toranomon Station and go straight, heading towards the Nishi-Shimbashi 1-chome intersection on your right.
It's also about the same distance from Kamiyacho, and you can easily walk there from Shinbashi Station.

I went to the Tokyo Tower side of Toranomon Hills.
The step garden, like the one in the photo, continues along the building and leads to the Oval Plaza, which I will introduce later.

And I found a wonderful rest area in the step garden!
There are 1-2 person chairs with tables.
I visited on a Saturday, but it was almost empty with little foot traffic.

This woven bench fits your body so well and is so comfortable to sit on!
The seat is wide and the backrest is at the perfect angle, and the moment I sat down, I was like "Aaaah"(lol)

Not only the chairs, but the atmosphere of the rest area is also great!
The sophisticated step garden functions as an urban oasis, perfect for taking a break while dining at Toranomon Hills.

What's more, it's also nice to have tables and luggage racks.
(This isn't a footrest, is it...?)
So, it is also convenient when you want to take a break with a family with children with a lot of luggage.
Also, if you have business in the Hills, it's a great place to eat lunch from Toranomon!

From the chairs, you can see the Tokyo Tower through the gaps between the buildings!
It is lit up at night, so it is also recommended as a date spot in Toranomon!
It doesn't show well in the photos, so please visit and see for yourself♪

Beyond the step garden, there is a grassy area called Oval Plaza.
And speaking of Mori Building, there's also public art.
There is a giant monument called "Jaume Plensa" in the plaza, and if you look closely, it is composed of letters from eight different languages. It is said to express diversity and the origins of culture towards the Tokyo Olympics.
Also, yoga is held in the plaza, and it is also used as an event space.
Also, there are table seats inside Toranomon Hills, so be sure to check them out!
There is Atago Shrine with the "Stairway to Success" nearby, so I think it's a good idea to stop by while visiting.
Also, I'm working hard to introduce it on TikTok.

So, why not use it as a place to rest in the Toranomon Station area while shopping at the Hills?
