From the north exit of Toyama Station, you'll pass the *O-void Hall* and the *Oaks Hotel* as you walk straight along a wide road called the Boulevard, eventually reaching the Itachi River.
I then took a stroll along the Itachi River towards Canal Park.

The Itachi River, which runs straight along the Toyama City General Gymnasium.
There are walking paths on both banks. I recommend going to Canal Park from here♪

And, there are benches along the Itachi River where you can sit and take a break!
This is a pergola type, and it was a spot where you could relax while gazing at the Itachi River♪

The benches are made of wood and have well-drained tiles at their feet.
The surrounding area is a quiet residential area. It seems like it would be nice to read a book while looking at the Itachi River.

There are also three-seater benches scattered around, which are perfect for a break during your walk to Canal Park.

There are plants and flower beds on the walking path, and they are beautifully maintained.

From the Itachi River, you can see Canal Park and the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art Promenade.
The Itachi River and Canal Park are home to spot-billed ducks swimming leisurely, so you can also encounter waterfowl♪

I took a look from the bridge near Canal Park.
The high-rise building in the back is "Volffert Toyama."
It is a spot used by local people, such as for meetings, social gatherings, wedding venues, and a restaurant on the 1st floor where you can enjoy Turkish rice.
How about taking a leisurely break during your sightseeing in Toyama and visiting on a walk to Canal Park!?
So, how about using it as a resting place to sit down around Toyama Station?
