Near Minato Mirai Bridge on the Yokohama Bay Quarter side, there's a stylish area called the Portside District!
To get to Portside Park, a representative spot in the district, go to the 2nd floor via the Bay Quarter Walk from Yokohama Kita East Exit A, pass the Sea Bass boarding area, and go through the Minato Mirai Bridge underpass.

Portside Park is a sophisticated waterfront park with an "art & design" theme, and it has benches and tables where you can sit and relax!
On the Yokohama Central Wholesale Market side, there were tables with four seats in the grassy area ♪
Looks like a great place to eat your Yokohama lunch!

What is this mysterious object written in English letters + numbers...!?
It seems to be called a "pole lamp," and it lights up at night, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
...I wonder what's inside the pole lamps? It makes you curious, doesn't it!

So, taking a peek... there's a bench in the pole lamp!
It's an iron bench that can barely seat two people.

This is the view from the bench!
It's blind, so you can't be seen from the outside... but you can definitely see it (laughs)
Please give it a try!

"P3 meeting in Portside Park" could be used as a cool meeting spot like a secret code, but some of them are misses (laughs)
This one was a distribution board and a manhole!

Portside Park is quite interesting, and since it's located by the water, you can, of course, enjoy the scenery.
A large number of benches for two people are lined up along the promenade that stretches for about 400m from the Minato Mirai Bridge!

...It's a design that seems to prevent you from lying down properly.
Well, it's a bench with high artistic value. Does the gate-shaped design on the right side represent bollards?
You can sit on the bench and enjoy the view of the Minato Mirai buildings!

In the middle of Portside Park, there are several tables with four seats.
It's nice to have a picnic with the family or relax♪

There is an "undulating lawn" full of dynamism next to the international school!
Portside Park really focuses on landscape design. This must be fun for kids~.
By the way... there's something like a bench seat on the slope of the lawn... but when I enthusiastically approached it... it was just an iron plate....

The surrounding area is surrounded by high-rise apartments, and I'd like to live there once....
Yokohama Station is also about a 10-minute walk!
And this table looks like it could be used as a Nomad/Remote work spot in Yokohama if the weather is nice~.

Also, there was a clinic mall called Portside Place.
Medical tenants are closed on weekends and holidays, and the upper floors are residential areas, so I didn't have much of a chance to visit.

Portside Park is also recommended as a date spot in Yokohama, where you can relax on the benches while looking at the lights from the buildings on the Nissan and Fuji Xerox sides!

The canal is a route for the Sea Bass, and the daytime scenery is also wonderful, but it becomes a fantastic space at night.
There are also many benches, and it's a recommended rest spot in Yokohama!
Also, "Bay Quarter Bay Garden" nearby is also a lovely rest area, so be sure to check it out♪

So, how about using it as a place to rest around Yokohama Station?
