Yokosuka-Chuo Station has two exits: the east exit on the pedestrian deck side and the west exit on the More's City side.
Let's go out to the outer passage on the 1st floor of More's City, located after exiting the west exit ticket gate.

This is what you'll see when you go down the stairs from the ticket gates, with the entrance to More's City in front of you.
And, we found a place to sit and take a break by walking down the passage on the left side of the photo!

There were two wooden benches for two people each set up next to the escalator leading to FOOD CITY on the B1F of More's.
The post right next to it is a landmark. As for the environment of the rest area, it has a ceiling on the 2nd floor, so it can be used even in rainy weather.

Since there are backrests and handrails, it is a sufficient specification for a quick break.
Considering the distance from the Yokosuka-Chuo Station ticket gates, it is a very convenient rest area!
However, because it's near the station, there's a lot of foot traffic in front of the bench, and it was a bit unsettling because it was being used as a small promotional venue for water servers, etc.

Walking down the passage on the 1st floor of More's City, there were about three similar wooden benches.
There's a 31 Ice Cream nearby, so it's a great spot to buy some ice cream and sit here to eat it.
By the way, there was a Moomin Cafe.
It's surprisingly rare, the Moomin Cafe! There are only four stores in the Kanto region!?
It's likely to become even more popular when the Moomin theme park in Saitama opens.
The benches introduced this time are in a semi-indoor environment, so the air conditioning is unfortunately not working.
But you can avoid direct sunlight, and I visited in the middle of summer and it was just right for a break, so I think it's convenient to remember!
It can also be used as a meeting place at Yokosuka-Chuo west exit.
So, why not use it as a resting place in Yokosuka-Chuo while shopping at More's City?
