Warabashi Park, pronounced "Warabebashi," is a compact park located in a residential area.
To get to Warabashi Park, you can go up the pedestrian path on the road leading to the Shinobazu-dori from the north exit of Tabata Station, or access it from Edo-zaka next to the Asuka Tower.
Alternatively, you can also access it by going through the residential area from the south exit of Tabata Station.
Even so, the south exit of Tabata Station...is this really in front of a Yamanote Line station!?

It gave me the impression of a station like Kanagawa Station, haha.
So, I'll introduce Warabashi Park, which can also be accessed from the south exit, where there are places to sit and rest.

This is a relief of Kita-ku Warabashi Park.
Speaking of Tabata, there is also the "Tabata Bunjimura Memorial Hall" near the station.
Bunjimura? Yes, it got its name because famous novelists and writers lived in Tabata as lodgings for the Tokyo University of the Arts.
And, in Warabashi Park, there are garden stones and moss of Saisei Muro, one of the writers, and an explanatory board about cultural properties.

Although it is a small park, there were a sandbox, swings, playground equipment, public toilets, and a slide.
I visited around 16:00 on Sunday, and the park was bustling with families with children.
Of course, there were benches too.

Two wooden benches for two people each were set up.
The back of the benches faces a one-way road and a cutting road, and it seems there is an entrance to the park, but you can't enter without going around the residential area.
Therefore, you can take a rest without worrying about the back.

There was an armrest in the center of the bench.
Rather than that, it seems better to think of it as a partition to secure a private space.
Although it was a bit old, it was comfortable to sit on, and the space for your feet was wide, so you could relax and rest.
It might be good when you want to take a break with your family with children near Tabata Station or let your children play.
Also, on the way from Warabashi Park to Asuka Tower at Tabata Station, there was "Saito Rabbit Clinic," a rabbit hospital.

The manager, Penth, has never kept a rabbit, but when I looked it up, there are few rabbit hospitals.
It was closed on Sundays and public holidays, but it is a valuable hospital where you can be examined when your rabbit is not feeling well.
So, that was the introduction of Warabashi Park.
Also, as mentioned at the beginning, the "resting place in front of the Tabata Bunjimura Memorial Hall" is also close to Tabata Station, so please stop by!
How about using it as a resting place near Tabata Station?
