To get to Lumine Tachikawa, exit the east or west ticket gates of Tachikawa Station and head towards the north exit via the station concourse. You'll see the entrance.
And, if you access RF from the elevators inside Lumine, you'll find a rooftop garden called Sky Garden Kotorie.

A stylish Kotorie sign and a gardening tunnel welcome you!
Unlike a department store, it's a refreshing entrance.
The rooftop garden has a place where you can enjoy BBQ without bringing anything, called "BBQPIT", which opened on April 27, 2018.
Since you can get the ingredients at Lumine, it seems like you can meet the needs of those who want to have a quick BBQ!
And, there is a place to rest next to the BBQ area of the Sky Garden.

Two sets of 3-seater tables are available.
The floor of the garden is tiled, creating a bright atmosphere that matches the color scheme of the tables.
Pergolas are provided at the tables, and efforts have been made to create a relaxing space.

These tables are compact, so maybe they have only 3 seats instead of 4.
You can use this table to take a break with your family with children or as a place to eat your lunch from Tachikawa.
It would be nice to do some remote work if the weather is nice!

If you go a little further, there are 3 wooden benches with 3 seats each.
More than half of the rooftop garden is a futsal court of Jexer Futsal Club, and it's lively on weekends.

This is a notice for using the Sky Garden.
Smoking and using the benches for a long time are prohibited.
Also, beyond this information board, the scenery of buildings such as Isetan and Takashimaya in the north exit area of Tachikawa Station spreads out.
You can enjoy the view of Tachikawa from over the fence.
Sky Garden Kotorie is not as spacious as you might think, as the BBQ area and futsal court occupy most of the space.
It may not be very relaxing when there are many BBQ users, so the comfort level may vary depending on the situation.
Why not use it as a place to rest in Tachikawa Station area when you are shopping at Tachikawa Takashimaya?
