To get to Tachikawa North Exit Park, take the escalator from the pedestrian deck at the north exit of Tachikawa Station towards Bic Camera, go down, go straight past From Chubu, and you'll arrive.
There are public restrooms in the park and places to sit and rest.

Many wooden benches are installed.
The wooden benches arranged in a circle in the shade of a large tree are popular, and the seats are often full.
Since this park is located adjacent to a tall building, you can avoid direct sunlight in the summer.
Also, because the road in front of the park is wide, it is said that it is also used as a meeting place for bus tours, etc.
At lunchtime, I saw people eating rice balls and boxed lunches from convenience stores in the park.
There are also mysterious objects like the following.

I think it was probably donated by a sister city of Tachikawa City.
By the way, if you go through the gate-shaped object on the left...
(I'll leave it as a treat for you to enjoy on the spot.)
Also, benches are installed in the plaza in front of Yayoi-ken, which is across the street.

Many wooden benches are also installed here.
Personally, I think the plaza in front of Yayoi-ken is brighter and I recommend it.
It's a convenient park when you want to take a break in Tachikawa Station or when you want to eat a boxed lunch.
So, why not use it as a place to take a break and sit down around Tachikawa Station?
