We've started a survey of rest areas overseas! Our destination this time is "Taipei."
We went to "Yongkang Street," a place with many unique shops!
Yongkang Street, with its shops selling Chinoiserie goods, tea leaves, and cafes, is famous as a tourist spot in Taipei.
To get to Yongkang Street, take the MRT's Tamsui-Xinyi Line and get off at Exit 5 of Dongmen Station.

Yongkang Street is the street next to "Din Tai Fung," famous for its soup dumplings, which has its main branch in Taipei.
Even so, Din Tai Fung was so popular that it was overflowing with tourists...

This is Yongkang Street.
There are many shops along the street, and it's fun just to stroll around♪

If you go straight along Yongkang Street, you'll see "Yongkang Park."
A bazaar was being held in the park, and stalls selling local specialties and miscellaneous goods were gathered!
There are also public restrooms in Yongkang Park, so keep that in mind.

After passing the central square of the park, there was a small walking path and flower beds.
Flowers were blooming, and it was a beautifully maintained area.

And we found the long-awaited bench! Two two-seater wooden benches were installed.
Stone tiles were laid at the foot of the benches, and the color of the benches and the atmosphere made it feel like a garden.

The benches are kept clean, and they are very comfortable. It's the best rest spot in Yongkang Street!
We also recommend it for a date in Taipei!
Buy some Tianjin Cong Zhua Bing (green onion pancake) next to the park and sit on this bench!

You can see the tents of the Yongkang Park bazaar in front of the bench.
The park was bustling with people, but there's a rest spot behind the trees, so we were able to relax unexpectedly!

Near Yongkang Park, there's "50 Lan," which is known for its soft tapioca!
It seems like a good idea to take out a tapioca drink and take a break on the park bench♪

Si Mu Xi (Smoothie), famous for its mango shaved ice, on the main street of Yongkang Street, is very crowded!
However, the shop a short walk from Yongkang Park is empty as shown in the photo.
If you want to go to Si Mu Xi, keep this in mind!
Of course, it's also fun to go around the general stores in Yongkang Street♪
The decoration of the motherboard at the entrance of the general store is wonderful.#永康街 pic.twitter.com/NT5VWid2Eo

There are also wide benches beyond Yongkang Park, so be sure to check those out as well!
So, how about using these places in Yongkang Street as a place to sit and take a break?
