This is the Asakawa Fureai Bridge (Manganji Pedestrian Bridge), the filming location for the drama "Kahoko's Protection." It's only accessible on foot or by bicycle, and you'll feel a pleasant bounce as you walk across.

In the middle of the pedestrian bridge, you'll find two square benches that can seat four people each.

On a clear day, you can even see Mt. Fuji from this bench!

This is a great spot to relax and watch the Asakawa River during the sunrise or sunset.

If the benches are crowded, you can also find plenty of places to sit on the riverbank of the Asakawa River, on the Takahatafudo Station side. Those are also recommended!
