The east exit of Tamachi Station is undergoing redevelopment, and it seems that the high-rise building "Tamachi Station Tower N" in msb Tamachi (Musubu Tamachi), a high-rise building district, will be completed in the spring of 2020.
Next to Musubu Tamachi is a long building called "Nagisa Terrace" with mainly restaurants.
To get to Nagisa Terrace, you can go directly from the pedestrian deck after exiting the east exit of Tamachi Station.
Alternatively, you can go from the ground level after descending the escalator from the pedestrian deck.

I took this photo from the pedestrian deck.
The building on the right is the bus stop for the east exit of Tamachi Station, and the building on the left is Nagisa Terrace.
And, there was a place to sit and take a break on the sidewalk in front of Nagisa Terrace!

A circular bench for 12 people was placed around the street trees.
Because it has just been renovated due to redevelopment, the surroundings are clean and the atmosphere is good.

There is a lot of traffic heading to Tamachi Station, but I think it's convenient to take a short break near Tamachi Station or as a meeting place in Tamachi♪
Also, it seems to be useful when you want to quickly grab a lunch box or a light meal at the east exit of Tamachi Station.

The bench is weather-resistant and shows no signs of deterioration.
Even so, the legs of the bench are distinctive, being inserted into a white square frame.
If the height is not correct, the bench seems to wobble, but the stability was good, perhaps because there were few design errors.
Since there were lights around the planting, it seems that it will be lit up at night.
Also, since there is a Koban (police box) at the corner of the intersection nearby, it seems that the safety is also okay.
In addition, the "msb Tamachi 2F Event Square" next door is a relaxing terrace-like rest area that I recommend!
So, why not use it as a place to sit and take a break around Tamachi Station?
